Maple has always been thought of as poetic because of its essence of grace, beauty, tastefulness, elegance, mood and the feelings it evokes. The trees attract many people, not only for they sing seasonal songs through out the year, but also for their breath-taking leaves of a highly ornamental shape, refined texture and exquisite delicacy that enchants visitors to the West Coast.
Spring:
When sweet-voiced spring, breaks nature's icy sleep the Maple’s crown reappears in her fair and budding beauty. Branches poke, scramble, push, and fight to hold up the sky like the green waves of the deep. Their buds swell in their progress and anticipate new fresh leaves unfolding in spring.
Summer:
When blooming summer brings its heat, refreshing mornings and red sunsets that drink the sun, the Maple tree adds a cool feeling to it with its bright color. The maple trees are great in their green expanse of fire-threaded summer leaves that seem to whisper, tremble and greet the dawn.
Autumn:
If summer’s best of weather, then autumn’s best of cheer. In the garden, it is indeed the crowning glory of the year. The Maple’s leaves are crimson upon his crown. The copper flows quietly from his fair and changeful dress upon the ground and as we walk by we love the sound.
Winter:
When shorter days and longer nights bring winter to our nature, we are ready to enjoy this dawn's show. The maples become naked showing everything from old wounds to the beautiful movement of the tree along with a winter silhouette and the motionless white mists out on the leaves.
